Adopted by President Dianne Harrison in September 2008, CSU Monterey Bay's 2008-2018 Strategic Plan is entering Year Three of its implementation.  Four major goals and numerous key initiatives frame the planning and continued development of the University around the vision and values of CSU Monterey Bay.  The University is using a decentralized approach to strategic planning and supports for planning and development of projects are available on this website.

The Strategic Planning Coordinating Council supports the campus community and each division in its development of viable goals and key initiatives, tracks progress, and updates the plan as needed. The Coordinating Council presents progress in strategic planning to the President's Cabinet each semester and produces an annual report.
